Before You Go Any Further, Read This..............An Important Word of Warning
Generally speaking, there are two kinds of Christians in the world. There are those who do little or nothing for the Lord, and then there are those who do too much. You don't want to be in either category - both of them are unhealthy extremes. The first extreme (i.e. that of doing nothing for God) contravenes the Word of God (see Matthew 28:18-20 and Acts 1:8). The second extreme (i.e. that of doing too much for God) can lead to physical illness, emotional burnout, mental breakdown, relationship breakups, erratic behaviour, conceit, repulsive self-righteousness, hardness, coldness, spiritual disillusionment and the estrangement of children from their parents. Always remember to pace yourself - the Christian life is a marathon, not a sprint. Don't spread yourself too thin - it is generally advisable to find one thing to do for the Lord and then faithfully do it. Don't go trying to do everything, you will only burn yourself out. Learn early on in your Christian life how to firmly say 'NO' when you feel that a church, a pastor or other Christians are trying to overload you or get you to do more than God wants you to do. God wants your spouse and children to come first, He wants your ministry to come second - make sure that you never lose sight of that. If you avoid the unhealthy extremes talked about in this paragraph, then you can live a balanced, stable, faithful, wholesome, victorious and fulfilled Christian life.
A Word of Encouragement
Reinhard Bonnke says: "Jesus lifts us out of the deepest pit, but He does not lift us out of an armchair. God is waiting for us to get up. There's no conscription in the Kingdom of God. He asks, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" (Isaiah 6:8). It is high time to respond positively....Jesus didn’t die to give us a career, but to save the lost!"
All around us, billions of people are spiritually lost and on their way to Hell.
Two people die every second - statistically speaking, at least one of these people will go to Hell.
107 people die every minute. 6,390 people die every hour. 153,000 people die every day. 56 million people die every year. Statistically speaking, at least half of these people will go to Hell. Many of them could be people that you know, people that you work with, people that you study with or people that you socialise with. Some of them could be your own friends and family.
It breaks our heart to see these people going to Hell.
What can we do to get them off the road to Hell and on to the road to Heaven?
We can't force them to get saved, but we can offer to share the good news of Jesus Christ with them. We can offer them the opportunity to hear about how they too can be saved.
Will you do what you can to help reach these people for the Lord Jesus Christ?
Firstly, Please Make Sure that You've Got The Main Things Right
[1] Make sure that you yourself are saved (click here and go through the steps just in order to make sure, if you are not 100% sure).
[2] Make sure that your basic beliefs are correct concerning salvation, Christianity and the Bible - namely that: there is only one way to Heaven; the Bible is the perfect, inspired, infallible, inerrant, authoritative and preserved Word of God; salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone in Christ alone; and good works, baptism, the Lord's Supper, religious activities, etc play no part whatsoever in salvation.
[3] Pray each day for the salvation of those who are unsaved.
The following 14 possibilities are some of the things that you can do in order to reach others with the message of the gospel. Always remember to only engage in activities that are safe, age-appropriate, sensitive, tasteful and in accordance with the law.
[1] Print off some of the free resources listed on this website and distribute them to others. Do this on the condition that you will only distribute them sensitively, tastefully and in accordance with the law. Please click here for instructions in how to do this.
[2] Make your own business cards, postcards, pens, t-shirts, stationary, signs, bumper stickers, calendars, greetings cards, banners, car magnets, fridge magnets, notepads, graphics, marketing campaigns, posters, classified adverts, newspaper / magazine adverts, online adverts, balloons and calendar-cards in order to publicise this website. "Christianity is the land of beginning again. Visit www.Go2Heaven.cc"
[3] Download appropriate audio and video recordings from reputable online sources like Sermonaudio. Once you've done this, you can distribute these recordings to others. Only download or distribute these recordings on the condition that you do so sensitively, tastefully and in accordance with the law.
[4] Use the sharing widgets located at the bottom of selected pages on this website (eg. the home page and the welcome page) in order to promote these web pages online so that more people are given the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ.
[5] Go to the entire body of text laid out in paragraphs 1 to 21 of this site's home page (i.e. the wording from and including the title 'How to Know That You Are Going to Heaven' all the way down to the word "Amen" at the end of the long prayer): highlight all of this text, copy it, paste it on to a blog, website or webpage, and then publish it (unaltered and in its entirety) online. Only do this upon the following conditions: that you have the right to do so; that you do so apropriately, safely, legally, sensitively, tastefully and in accordance with the law; that you publish the entire body of text laid out in paragraphs 1 to 21 of this site's home page unaltered and in its entirety; and that the blog, website or webpage that you use is apropriate, safe, legal, sensitive, tasteful and in accordance with the law.
[6] Promote this website on social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, online forums and guestbooks. Only promote this website on the condition that you do so sensitively, tastefully and in accordance with the law. Use the following words -

"Visit www.Go2Heaven.cc"
"How can I go to Heaven? To find out, visit www.Go2Heaven.cc"

"How can I go to Heaven? To find out, visit www.Go2Heaven.cc"
"Whoever you are, whatever you've done, whatever you've been through - God still loves you. Visit www.Go2Heaven.cc"
"Christianity is the land of beginning again. Visit www.Go2Heaven.cc"
[8] If you have a blog, website or webpage that is sensitive, tasteful and operating within the law, please consider placing a link to this website. This doesn't mean that your blog, website or webpages are officially connected to us (or vice versa). Use the following words -
"Click here to find out how you can go to Heaven when you die."
"www.Go2Heaven.cc"
"Visit www.Go2Heaven.cc"
"How can I go to Heaven? To find out, visit www.Go2Heaven.cc"
"Whoever you are, whatever you've done, whatever you've been through - God still loves you. Visit www.Go2Heaven.cc"
"Christianity is the land of beginning again. Visit www.Go2Heaven.cc"
[9] If you have a blog, website or webpage that is sensitive, tasteful and operating within the law, please consider embedding the Chick Publication's tract 'Unloved' so that your online visitors can discover the good news of Jesus Christ. Please click here for more information.
[10] Go to a cheap printer, run off a batch of basic black and white business cards with the following words on them: "Whoever you are, whatever you've done, whatever you've been through - God still loves you. Visit www.Go2Heaven.cc".
Once you've got your batch of business cards, simply begin to quietly distribute them by:
(a) leaving them lying around different places (eg. phone boxes, buses, trains, libraries, toilets, taxis, shops, waiting rooms, lockers, airports etc);
(b) leaving them for people when you are giving them a tip;
(c) sending them to others in the mail;
(d) paying a small fee in order to place them in a shop window or on a notice board;
(e) leaving them in books, magazines, newspapers, brochures, greeting cards, etc.
After you've done this for a while, you may notice that your confidence is beginning to rise - when that happens, you may wish to actually start handing out the business cards to people on a face to face basis.
Only produce these business cards and distribute them on the condition that you will do so sensitively, tastefully and in accordance with the law. In addition, always remember to pray first (asking God's blessing and guidance on your efforts) before you produce or distribute any of the business cards. Every time that you distribute one of these business cards, you are (directly or indirectly) reaching at least one more person for the Lord Jesus Christ and offering them the chance to know about how they can go to Heaven when they die. This means that, with minimal effort, you could easily reach hundreds of people a year for Jesus Christ.
[11] Take out a small, cheap, simple classifieds advert in a magazine, circular or local newspaper. Use the following words: "Whoever you are, whatever you've done, whatever you've been through - God still loves you. Visit www.Go2Heaven.cc" - or use these words: "How can I go to Heaven? To find out, visit www.Go2Heaven.cc". Only place these classifed adverts on the condition that you do so sensitively, tastefully and in accordance with the law. In addition, always remember to pray first (asking God's blessing and guidance on your efforts) before you place these classified adverts. Every time that someone reads your classified advert, you are (directly or indirectly) reaching at least one more person for the Lord Jesus Christ and offering them the chance to know about how they can go to Heaven when they die. This means that, with minimal effort, you could easily reach thousands of people a year for Jesus Christ.
[12] There are over a million different ways to do street outreach. If legally possible to do so, you should definitely consider doing some street outreach in your area. As well as being very effective, street outreach can be very easy to do and it is also something that almost anyone can be involved with. When considering going on a street outreach, always pray about it first. In addition, you should always operate sensitively, tastefully and within the law.
As is the case with most ministry work, don't do too much street outreach because you will burn yourself out and, instead of enjoying this valuable work for the Lord, you will come to resent it and lose the blessing of being involved with it.
Remember that you are representing the Lord Jesus Christ - therefore you must do everything that you can in order to keep the focus on Him, and Him alone. For that reason, it is only sensible to make sure that your attitude, behaviour and personal hygiene are of a high standard. Don't underdress or overdress - people should not be turned off by your appearance. Your clothing and appearance should be neither scruffy nor lavishly expensive. Dress casually, but keep it neat and clean.
Do police checks on everyone who wants to get involved in your street outreach. Among other things, this will help deter people who are on the sex offenders register from trying to use your ministry outreach as a cover for immoral activities. If you are planning to do some street outreach in the UK, contact the Christian Institute and the Open Air Mission first in order to get some pointers (you may also wish to click here).
Before engaging in street outreach, you should first agree among yourselves as to what local church or churches you will recommend to people if they express a desire to attend church.
The following are some ideas that you may be able to use in street outreach:
(a) Doing tasks for elderly people or those who are in need, eg. gardening, housework, etc. When you have finished, you can have prayer with them and offer them some literature (or a CD or DVD) telling them about how they can go to Heaven.
(b) Do a tabletop outreach. How do you do a tabletop outreach? Firstly, get a sturdy fold-up table (click here to purchase one) and set up a Christian resource stall in a market, car boot sale or a street. In order to make your stall look good, cover it with a simple tablecloth before you put your resources on it. Get a clear plastic covering for your table in case it rains or is windy (click here to purchase one). Also purchase a couple of market stall clips in order to hold your plastic covering in place (these can be purchased by clicking here).
(c) Distribute tracts on the street, at public events or from door-to-door through people's letterboxes. Tracts are resources (usually short leaflets or booklets) which tell people about how they can go to Heaven. You can download some of them for free from this website (please click here for more information). Only distribute tracts on the condition that you will do so sensitively, tastefully and in accordance with the law. For instructions in how to do this, please click here in order to read an article entitled 'How to Distribute Tracts'.
(d) Give a public talk on the street. This is frequently called 'street preaching'. Don't shout and don't use amplification equipment. Just stand in an appropriate place and speak clearly. Remember that you aren't there to force people to listen to what you have to say, that is entirely their choice - you are merely there in order to give them an opportunity to listen, that's all.
[13] Engage in evangelistic outreach to children. For reasons of child protection and insurance, you may wish to do this in a church setting or in line with an established group like the Child Evangelism Fellowship (click here for more information).
[14] One very easy, yet exceptionally important, way to witness to others is to be welcoming to newcomers when they come to church. If you see someone new at your church, go over to them and shake hands, smile, make eye contact, welcome them to the service, invite them to sit with you, introduce yourself, talk to them about their life, offer them a fresh bottle of water, put them at ease, make them comfortable and let them know that they are in a church that cares about them. Don't be pushy, but be kind to them so that they can be at ease. Tell them that you'll be praying for them.
